This blog is about employees incentive
Workplace safety is a process that seeks to eliminate or reduce injury and the corresponding interruption to work flow and production.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that there were 4.1 million nonfatal injuries and illnesses that occurred in 2006; 1.2 million of those cases required an average of seven days lost-time.
An employee safety recognition program rewards safe working behavior. The company will experience a more safety-conscious workforce and a decrease in loss-time injuries or illness. Preventing permanent injury and undue harm in the workplace lowers the cost of benefits and improves your ROI.
Incentive programs do not replace poor safety management. A safety incentive program is successful when the organization already has implemented a good safety program. An effective safety incentive program encourages employees to exceed the expectations of a safety management program. It will raise company-wide awareness of safety issues, reduce injuries and instill a proactive work ethic, fostering a safer working environment.
